Not sure whata Lesbeing (a conceptual project) is about….was given your sticker at Dyke March NYC…can you tell me more…
The project is ongoing. It started with the notion that lesbians are human beings too, for which I coined its hybridized noun form “Lesbeing.” It’s an inclusive term and its expanded usage includes “Lesbros.” I’m working on a finalized version of its surreal ethnography that explores imagined cultural roots of Lesbeing humanoids in ancient civilizations as studied through its artists. My work’s intention is light-hearted and celebratory, claiming for instance, that Lesbian is the spoken language of Lesbeings. I’ll be posting a clip of its work-in-progress performance later this week. Thanks for leaving a note!
